For more than 26 years, Project One Focus has been committed to empowering individuals, strengthening families and expanding opportunities through outreach, education and advocacy. From early childhood education and K–12 learning to adult literacy, workforce development, youth mentorship and community assistance, we provide programs that help individuals overcome barriers and build brighter futures.

Project One Focus, Inc. is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1999, with a mission to improve lives through comprehensive educational programs, community outreach and advocacy.

We believe every individual deserves access to opportunities that support personal growth, educational achievement, economic independence and long-term success. Our programs serve children, youth, adults and families across Houston and surrounding communities, with educational opportunities extending beyond the local area.

Through strategic partnerships, direct services and our educational institutions, we work to remove barriers, develop potential and create meaningful pathways toward brighter futures.

Education is at the heart of our mission. We provide learning opportunities across the lifespan — early childhood education, K–12 instruction, adult literacy, GED preparation, English language learning, tutoring, workforce development, and college and career readiness. Through Discovery Preparatory Academy and our community-based programs, we help learners discover their potential and achieve their goals.
