Founded in 1999, Project One Focus, Inc. was established with a commitment to serving underserved individuals and families through outreach, education and advocacy.
Our story
More than a nonprofit. A community of opportunity.
For more than 26 years, our organisation has worked to create opportunities that support educational achievement, personal development, family stability and community empowerment.
What began as a commitment to community service has grown into a comprehensive nonprofit organisation providing educational programs, youth development, adult learning, workforce development, community assistance and advocacy.
Through our flagship private educational institution, Discovery Preparatory Academy, we have expanded our educational reach to serve learners from early childhood through high school — including student-athletes, international students and students requiring specialised academic support.
Our work is rooted in the belief that every individual has potential, and that access to education, resources and meaningful opportunities can transform lives. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains unchanged: to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build communities where opportunity is accessible to all.

With more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Dr. LE has dedicated her career to advancing educational opportunities, supporting underserved communities and developing programs that empower individuals and families.
As Founder and Executive Director of Project One Focus, Inc., she leads the organisation's outreach, education and advocacy initiatives while overseeing the continued development of Discovery Preparatory Academy.
Her leadership reflects a longstanding commitment to educational access, youth development, community empowerment and creating opportunities for individuals across the lifespan.
