We are based in Houston, Texas, and the Houston area and surrounding communities remain our home base. Some of our educational programs extend beyond the local area. If you are unsure whether we can help, please ask — we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

Our general hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm. Individual programs may run at other times, so please ask when you get in touch.

Our work spans outreach, education and advocacy — community outreach and family assistance, adult education, workforce development and financial literacy, youth development and enrichment, advocacy and resource navigation, and our private school, Discovery Preparatory Academy. Yes. Discovery Preparatory Academy is accredited by Cognia (NCA CASI, NWAC and SACS CASI). The academy serves students from early childhood through high school. For admissions and enrollment detail, visit discoveryprepacademy.org.

Costs vary by program. As a nonprofit, we work to keep learning accessible, though our academy and some enrollment programs are tuition-based. Please contact us for current tuition, fees, and any assistance that may be available.

You can give through our donation page, where you can also tell us which program you would like your gift to support. Project One Focus, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your donation may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law — please consult your tax advisor.

Yes — we would love your help. Let us know your interests through the contact form and we will be in touch about current opportunities. Roles working directly with students may require additional screening; we will explain exactly what is needed before you start.
